DESCRIPTION & MAIN PROPERTIES:

●WELSIL GLAZING AND METAL SILICONE SEALANT-880 is one component, neutral solidification under room temperature which cures on exposure to moisture vapour to form a very elastic silicone rubber.

●Excellent adhesion to smooth surfaces such as: glass, ceramics, aluminum, granite, concrete, cement and other inorganic surfaces and many other common construction substrates.

●Good weatherability withstand large temperature difference, ultraviolet light, while its physical properties remain unchanged for several years. vGood elasticity and tensile property ±20-25% displacement capacity after curing  between the temperature of -20℃~+120℃.

APPLICATIONS:

●Perimeter pointing internally and externally around Aluminum / UPVC / Wood and all other window & doors frames;

●Weather sealing and joint sealing to pre-formed panel & aluminium composit panels, and policarbonate panels,lighting roof buildings. v

●Suitable as an expansion joint sealant; v

●General glazing sealing and Draughtproofing, Glass to glass and glass to aluminum / upvc / wood sealing;

ADHESION： 

●WELSIL GLAZING AND METAL SILICONE SEALANT-880 exhibits excellent primerless adhesion to most non-porous siliceous materials (e.g. glass, tiles, ceramics, enamel, glazed tiles); impregnated, varnished or painted wood and some plastics.

●Users must carry out own tests due to the great variety of substrates.

●The adhesion can be improved in many cases by pretreatment of the substrate with a primer.

DIRECTIONS:

●Application surface should be clean,dry and free from all contaminants,i.e,dust ,rust,grease etc.

●Cut the nozzle at an angle and apply the sealant with a standard caulking gun.

●Tool immediately to spread the sealant against all surface and give a smooth finish.

●Avoid contact with eyes.

●Keep out of reach of children.

●Please dispose of empty cartridge correctly.

●It is a low hazard product.

LIMITATIONS:

●Not suitable for aquariums and in areas of food preparation.

●Not recommended for use with PMMA,PP,PE,Teflon,Bituminous,Wax or Paraffin.
